Indications: Hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia: Flovastatin is indicated as an adjunct to diet in the treatment of elevated total cholesterol, LDL-C, T.G, ApoB levels in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia (Fredrickson type IIa and IIb) whose response to dietary restriction of saturated fat and cholesterol has not been adequate; Flovastatin is indicated to slow the progression of coronary atherosclerosis in patients with coronary heart disease to lower total cholesterol and ldl-c to target levels
